Description

Ridges spiral up the stoneware and pull it into the shape of a shell left behind on a cold beach. The outside is unglazed and chalky to the hand; the inside is glazed and does the practical work out of sight. It earns its place on a shelf well before a single stem goes into it.

Stoneware, glazed on the inside and left unglazed on the outside
Off-white colourway, with a matte and tactile outer surface
15.5 cm wide x 26.5 cm high x 22 cm deep
At 1.6 kg it keeps its footing beneath a full arrangement
Produced in one size only; the smaller Shell Pot is a separate piece from the same family
Sculpted ridges run across the body and carry on around the shaped opening
The interior is glazed and intended to take a fresh flower arrangement
Care: rinse in lukewarm water
Article number 1104269904, a registered ferm LIVING design

At 1.6 kg it stays put beneath a full arrangement, and a rinse in lukewarm water is all the cleaning it asks for. It is made in this one size only.
