Kossi – large recycled glass storage jar with mango wood lid, clear

A small moulded loop on the side answers the question every cook has: where does the spoon go. The body is recycled glass, the lid solid mango wood, and at 22cm tall there is room for a serious quantity of flour, rice or coffee beans. Clear glass against bare wood leaves the contents to do the decorating.

• Body of recycled glass, topped with a solid mango wood lid
• Silicone seal lining the lid for an airtight close
• 22cm high x 12.5cm wide x 12.5cm deep
• 0.9kg
• Clear glass with a natural wood finish
• Moulded glass loop on the side, shaped to hold a wooden spoon
• Suitable for dry foods only
• Made in India
• Care: hand wash only, in warm water with a mild washing-up liquid; rinse in clean water and dry gently

A silicone seal in the lid closes it airtight, which is what keeps flour and coffee in condition. Dry foods only, and hand wash rather than trusting it to a dishwasher.
