Flapper – freestanding coat rack, white/natural

A coat rack tends to look busiest when there is nothing on it. The Flapper gets around that by keeping its nine cast aluminium hooks folded into the pole until a coat needs one, leaving a slim rubberwood column on a weighted white disc. At 168 cm it takes long coats without turning a hallway into an obstacle course.

• Nine cast aluminium hooks that flip down for use and retract into the pole afterwards
• Natural-finish rubberwood pole set on a weighted white metal base
• 39 x 39 x 168 cm (L x W x H)
• A 39.4 cm base diameter keeps it steady and resists tipping
• Up to 2.3 kg (5 lb) on each hook
• Arrives flat-packed and goes together without special tools
• Colourway: natural rubberwood pole with a white base and white hooks
• Backed by Umbra's 45-day satisfaction guarantee plus a 1-year manufacturer's warranty

A 39.4 cm weighted base keeps it upright with coats all on one side, and each hook takes up to 2.3 kg. It arrives flat-packed and goes together without special tools.
